  13. The CDN is a free gratis service of approximately 150  Christian-
  14. based  computer  bulletin  boards (BBS's)  in at  least  a  dozen 
  15. countries  on  four or more  continents.   Each  SYStem  OPerator 
  16. (SYSOP)  pays the costs involved in distribution and does so as a 
  17. ministry to YOU the user. 
  18.  
  19. This program (and all other CDN files bearing the .SDN extension) 
  20. was received fresh,  complete, and direct from the author.  It is 
  21. fully functional (no demo's  in  CDN!).   It has been scanned for 
  22. viruses and, after receiving a clean report, was "sealed"  with a 
  23. sort  of  computer-shrink-wrap  called a Security  Envelope  that 
  24. CANNOT be  duplicated once the  file  has been unarchived.   This 
  25. envelope  can  be  tested by each end-user by use  of  a  utility 
  26. distributed on this and most major bbs's  called FileTest.  It is 
  27. executed by issuing the command (from DOS):

  31. where  filename.SDN is the distribution name of the file(s)  that 
  32. you received.  A small note will be displayed on your screen that 
  33. states  the  file is an original and has not been  tampered  with 
  34. since being packaged at CDN.

  36. The FILETEST program  is also  used by the Shareware Distribution 
  37. Network (SDN), the Software Distribution System (SDS) and several 
  38. other major files distribution networks (fdn's).  The filename is 
  39. FTSTxxx.yyy where "xxx"  is the  current version number (102   at 
  40. present) and where "yyy" is the archive type used by GK PACE (who 
  41. developed the software).   Eg, the current version is FTST102.ZIP 
  42. and  it  (or  a  later version)  should be  available  where  you 
  43. received this file.

  45. If you appreciate the time and expense of providing this file and 
  46. other, similar Christian-based programs, please  send  a donation 
  47. to  the SYSOP of  the system  where you received it.  But most of 
  48. all,    please  honor  the  AUTHOR's  request  for  donation   or 
  49. registration.  Remember, shareware only works if you register it.

  52. dial  into  one  of the  many  QUALITY  Christian-based  computer 
  53. bulletin  boards?    If  you need a list of such boards and their 
  54. telephone  numbers,  look for the file, JESUSBBS.Axx (replace the 
  55. "xx"  part with numbers).   This list is available on many  bbs's 
  56. worldwide and is probably available where you found this file.

  59. Christian sysops.   They have many other  Christian resources  to 
  60. aid  you in your walk with Christ and to  help you find peace  in

  62. study, counseling or any of a couple hundred other topics.

  89. the Christian "echo" conferences.  If you have a QWK style reader
  90. for  reading/responding  to messages offline,  that is  supported

  93. If  you have a full-functioning Christian-based software  package 
  94. that  you  have  developed,   why not send  it  in  and  have  it 
  95. considered for distribution by CDN?  A file CDN_DEVx.EXE has more 
  96. particulars  but  if  you  send  a  statement  releasing  CDN  to 
  97. distribute  the  package along with the floppy disk(s),  we  will 
  98. very  likely  be  able  to  offer your  package  in  CDN.    Send
